Givolim is a small community located near Netivot. Approximately 120 families, both traditional and secular, call Givolim home.
The current mikvah is old and no longer fit for use. The dilapidated premises cause immense difficulty for families in keeping the mitzvah. This causes women to refrain from fulfilling the mitzvah properly, according to Halachah.
The renovation of the current facility into a beautiful, modern, pleasant, and wheelchair-accessible mikvah will enable the women of Givolim to fulfill the mitzvah with dignity, privacy, and hygiene. The non-religious community of Givolim values Jewish tradition and would utilize a welcoming and luxurious premises.
The updated mikvah is a vital response to the community's needs and will restore purity as a mainstay of community life.
