Masuat Yitzhak is a long-standing Moshav Modern Orthodox cooperative in Southern Israel, under the jurisdiction of the Shafir Regional Council. In recent years, especially during the Iron Sword war, the area experienced frequent sirens and security challenges, reflecting the difficult situation of the southern settlements.
The settlement has grown a lot in recent years, with many young families moving in. This has strengthened the community and increased public need. More growth is expected soon, with even more families coming to the area.
The combination of security challenges and population growth necessitates improvements in essential infrastructure. The mikvah has aged and been in use for a long time; it needs to be upgraded to provide a suitable, comfortable, and accessible service for a growing settlement facing the realities of life in the south. Due to these factors, Merkaz L’Taharat Ha’Mishpacha decided to renovate and rebuild the mikvah.
