Megadim is a secular settlement in northern Israel, located near Carmel Beach and Route 4, and is under the jurisdiction of the Chof Carmel Regional Council.
The current mikvah in the community is very old, and its infrastructure is severely deteriorated. The tiles keep falling off the walls, there are large areas with moisture damage, and the walls are severely moldy. Presently, the facility is non-operational.
The mikvah is unsuitable for use and cannot be used to keep the mitzvah of taharat ha'mishpacha.
A modernized, upgraded, handicapped-accessible mikvah is essential — it enables families to keep the mitzvah with dignity and comfort.
A luxurious pampering facility is an indispensable necessity to enhance purity in the community.
