Kfar Yuval, an old moshav in the Upper Galilee near Kiryat Shmona, suffered extensive damage during the war. Residents were evacuated, many homes were destroyed, and tragically, two members of the village lost their lives. Since the cease-fire, the settlement has been undergoing intensive construction to restore normalcy to the residents.
The local mikvah, which previously served the women of Kfar Yuval and the surrounding area, sustained severe damage and is no longer functional. Currently, it is closed. Renovation of the mikvah to ensure a dignified mikvah experience is critical and will allow the residents to return to daily life in their village.
