Katzir, a secular community near Chadera, is home to approximately 3,000 residents of various types.
The mikvah is in deplorable condition and does not meet the proper standards. A complete renovation of the infrastructure and appearance is required to encourage use by local secular women.
Arab villages surround Katzir, and there is no neighboring mikvah. Therefore, renovating the local mikvah is especially important. The community is currently undergoing expansion, with many homes under construction, primarily targeting young families.
A renovated and upgraded mikvah ensures that women using the facility have a pleasant and inviting experience, enabling them to observe the mitzvah of taharat hamishpacha with dignity, comfort, and a sense of sanctity.
