Zohar is an agricultural Moshav located on the southern coast of Israel. The settlement is located within the Lachish Regional Council. The over 500 residents are traditional, and the Moshav belongs to the Farmers Union.

The settlement was established in 1956 by immigrants from Algeria and Tunisia. Over the years, immigrants from Iraq, Hungary, and Russia joined the settlement.

The Mikvah in the Moshav is old and dilapidated and has severe mold and water issues. These problems affect the usage of the Mikvah by the residents of Zohar. Merkaz L'Taharat Ha'Mishpacha has undertaken the complete renovation of the Mikvah in Zohar.
